

STAIR CLIMBER ROBOT
WEEK 1: GROUP ASSIGNING
In first week all the students were divided in to different groups. Each group had almost 5 to 6 students
WEEK 2: INTRODUCTION AND RESEARCH
We were asked to research onto different kinds of innovative projects which is to be designed and manufactured later. By the end of the week after a lot of research on different projects we decided to work on Stair Climber.
WEEK 3: RESEARCH AND PROJECT
During this week we researched about stair climber that how it is made, which materials and components was needed to build the project. And how to build the mechanism was also discussed
WEEK 4: 2D/3D DESIGN
After selecting the project we made 2D and 3D design of the project. After making the design it was showed to respected tutors
WEEK 5: SELECTION OF COMPONENTS
In this week we researched and selected all the required components for our Stair Climber such as gears, motors, rods, battery etc. Once all the components were decided, we further worked on making of the Stair Climber.
WEEK 6: COMPONENTS PURCHASED
All the components were purchased we had lot of problem finding gears and motors but after lot of research we found our components.
WEEK 7: CONSTRUCTION
Once all the components was purchased we started constructing. We faced lot of problems during construction. First we were using one motor but it did not worked because of heavy weight of it. Than we redesigned our model and used light wood to build it and we added another motor to give more power.
